INTER MILAN VALUE DEFENDER AT £50m

New Italian Serie A leaders Inter Milan could have sold defender Milan Skriniar if his suitors had met their asking price. Inter Milan were open to the idea of selling the Slovakian international centre back after a difficult first season under Antonio Conte in the last campaign but he has been able to recover from that difficult season to become an important member of the Inter Milan backline. Popular Italian transfer news portal Calciomercato stated that Inter Milan turned down a big bid of £30m for Milan Skriniar from Premier League outfit Milan Skriniar and that the defender is now valued at £50m at least after his recent renaissance in an Inter Milan shirt.

 

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho wanted to sign Milan Skriniar at the start of this season but the club was not able to reach an agreement with Inter Milan despite offering £30m for the services of the Slovakian international player. Inter Milan wanted more money for Skriniar but Spurs were not willing to pay and the refusal to meet the financial demands of Inter Milan for their top defensive target has come back to bite the club.
