AGENT OF INTER MILAN PLAYER SAYS BROZOVIC IS BEING FORCED OUT OF THE CLUB

The agent of Croatian international, Marcelo Brozovic, says the club is forcing the player out.

The player has emerged as one of the Serie A giants key players this season but Roberto Mancini will be forced to let go of a handful of stars to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations at the club.

Inter have been linked with Manchester City’s Yaya Toure this week and Brozovic could be one of the casualties needed to complete a deal for the Ivory Coast star. Yaya had a difficult season at the Premier League before City agreed to let him go. According to reports from Football Italia, the 23-year-old Brozovic is on the radars of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and soon-to-be Chelsea manager Antonio Conte as both clubs prepare to mount Premier League title challenges next season.

They will be spurred by Brozovic’s agent’s belief that Inter are gearing up to let his client leave the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza this summer. According to Sky Sport Italia, Miroslav Bicanic said:

“If [Inter director] Piero Ausilio went to England, that means he plans to sell him. Continue reading “AGENT OF INTER MILAN PLAYER SAYS BROZOVIC IS BEING FORCED OUT OF THE CLUB”

INTER MILAN TO LIKELY FINISH IN TOP THREE IN THE SERIE A

Italian giants, FC Internazionale Milano have kept alive their hopes of finishing in the top three in Serie A with a 3-1 home victory against Udinese over the weekend.

Thereau who just reached 33 years, opened the scoring after nine minutes. Emmanuel Badu matched a pass from inside the centre circle and Thereau took it brilliantly, striking the ball first time on the volley from just inside the penalty area as it dropped over his shoulder. Inter Milan players may be leaving for Chelsea

There are media reports about Inter Milan players, Ivan Perisic, and Marcelo Brozovic might be leaving the club for Chelsea. Indeed, with Antonio Conte believed to be taking control of the London club, many pundits believe that he will be using his knowledge of the Italian league to improve the English side.

Perisic is a Croatian international that make the move to Inter Milan last year from Wolfsburg. Perisic will add some versatility to the current Chelsea’s midfield since he can play on either flank or as a central midfielder. So far he has made 30 appearances for Inter and scored 8 goals for the Italian side. He will definitely add a creative spark to Chelsea, who has lacked flair in some of their attacking moves.

Brozovic is currently on loan from Dinamo Zagreb and would definitely strengthen Chelsea’s midfield. This season he has performed really well in the heart of Inter Milan midfield and will definitely add something to Chelsea’s midfield which currently consists of Matic and Fabregas.

Losing two players of such quality mean that Inter will have to enter the transfer market quite quickly to replace them. One player that may be heading to Inter Milan is Argentine striker Jonathan Calleri who currently plays for the Brazilian club Sao Paulo. Inter Milan appeared certain to end their league title drought that has been plaguing the club for the last few years. Since the departure of Jose Mourinho in 2010, the team has gone through several stages of decline and are now even struggling to qualify for the Champions League.

This led to the appointment of their former manager Roberto Mancini after the club recently underwent a change in ownership. Inter Milan president Erick Thohir wanted to bring some sanity to the club by going to the tried and trusted manager. Even though last season did not result in a league title, it was a step in the right direction for the Italian manager.

This convincedThohir to hand a substantial transfer kitty to the manager in the summer. It looks like the title race was going to be between Inter Milan and the likes of Napoli, Roma, and Fiorentina. Francesco Totti coming near to Retirement

Roma striker Francesco Totti remains as one of the few one club players still plying their trade in the European leagues.

The 38-year-old may be coming to the end of his career, but he still contributes immensely to the team. His goal against Manchester City in the Champions League away from home is a testament to the fact that Totti still remains at the top of his game. However, many feel that he is about to retire within the next couple of years. It is almost certain that he will be involved with Roma in some position, but the 38-year-old has revealed his desire to become a manager.

There have been a number of Italian players who have become managers in recent history. Carlo Ancelotti is one of the popular ones after the former AC Milan midfielder managed to embark on a successful coaching career. Totti has played an instrumental role in Roma once again challenging for the title this season. After 12 rounds of Italian Serie A, they remain only three points behind table leaders Juventus. The striker was recently given the Facchetti Award as a recognition for the immense contribution he has made to the game in the last decade or so. During the award ceremony, Totti said that Fifa should consider giving individual FIFA Ballon d’Or awards for every position.

“I would like to become Roma’s Coach, of course. You know that just a few days ago I was talking with a friend and told them: ‘[The ex-players] are doing it all. I think that eventually, [coaching] will also appeal to me’. Maybe I’ll start with the kids, although perhaps there is no need at the moment.

After all, it doesn’t take players of my ilk long to learn. I’d only [play my son Cristian] if he deserved it. It would lead me to some discomfort for sure, but I would never have any problems with Cristian. He’s a good boy,” said Totti.
