UNITED-PERISIC DEAL STILL ON

Manchester United can still add another forward this season as Jose Mourinho seeks to bolster the attack at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese manager identified Croatia international Ivan Perisic as the man but the deal with Serie A side Inter Milan has not been easy to seal.

Inter manager Lucio Spalletti says the club wants to retain the 28-year old winger but the situation at hand might force them to reluctantly sell the former Wolfsburg star. The coach said if the player is to leave, only the right price would be accepted.

“We want to keep Perisic. He’s a very important player for the team. We are counting on him to start the new season. But if somebody comes in with a very difficult offer to reject then we will consider that, but of course we need to find a valid alternative for Perisic as well,” Spaletti said. MILAN WANT CONTE THIS SUMMER

Inter Milan might have interfered with Chelsea’s plans to force manager Antonio Conte to commit to a new deal. Inter are planning to heavily influence the Italian coach to return home after one successful season in England.

The former Juventus coach does not want to commit to a new deal until Chelsea are official winner of the Premier League this term. He has delayed talks of a new deal, using the excuse that he does not want the distractions that come with it.

Chelsea are hoping the last two months of the Premier League go as planned. It so, it would see Conte lift the Premier League in his first year in charge. There is also the FA Cup which Chelsea are favourites though there are threats in Man City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. Conte could really do the double in his first year.

The Stamford Bridge management believes they have the season in the bag so they seem to be planning ahead. Hence, pressuring Conte to promise to spend more time at the club. Continue reading “MILAN WANT CONTE THIS SUMMER”

INTER MAKE SANCHEZ NUMBER ONE TARGET YET AGAIN

Serie A giant are targeting a return to elite European football so they want the best legs to help them.

The club reportedly wants Arsenal’s playmaker Alexis Sanchez so bad that they have made him the number one target yet again despite previous attempts to lure the player failing.

The club is backed by wealthy Suning Group so they are willing to flex their financial muscles to lure Paris St Germain talent Marco Verratti and Marquinhos as well.

Inter Milan badly want to replicate the successes they were known for in the past. The 2010 World Cup champions were even rumoured to be interested in attempting a near impossible – luring five-time Ballon d’Or champ Lionel Messi away from the Nou Camp. Interim manager Stefano Pioli allegedly killed such pipe dream but top football news source Corriere dello Sport claim that the light has been refocused on landing arguably the best Premier League player this term Sanchez next summer. INTER MILAN WANT LEIVA TO REPLACE BROZOVIC

Italian club Inter Milan are hoping to convince Liverpool to allow the transfer of Lucas Leiva to serve as replacement for Marcelo Brozovic who is set to join Juventus, according to reports.

Leiva is the longest serving player at Anfield, garnering up to 315 appearances for the Reds. The 29-year old player’s future has been cast in doubt following the numerous additions to the squad this summer, meaning the Brazilian would have to compete for the more favoured player this season. Inter Milan are hoping to use this as bait to sign Leiva.

Leiva has not signed a renewal as his contract with the club enters its final year. The same Marcelo Brozovic is a target for Liverpool in a bid to reinforce the defence. However, Corriere dello Sport reports that Juventus would splash £21 million in the next few days to sign the player.

Leiva has only played for two clubs all this life with his youth training in Brazil with Gremio and his switch to Liverpool in 2007. He has admirers like Turkish giant Galatasaray interested. A member of the board of Galatasaray, Levent Nazifoglu confirmed that the club is in talks with Liverpool in a bid to sign him. On the other hand, Inter Milan want to add the player to bolster the ranks as they are almost done with the transfer of Joao Mario from Sporting Lisbon for £39 million. The deal is reported to be a loan with an option to but if the play maker impresses. Continue reading “INTER MILAN WANT LEIVA TO REPLACE BROZOVIC”

INTER MILAN SET TO LAND CHELSEA’S JOHN OBI MIKEL

Italian outfit Inter Milan are set to land Nigerian player John Obi Mikel from Chelsea FC, reports say.

The wantaway player has enjoyed a decent amount of success at the London club and is set to finally leave the club. Mikel enjoyed a fairly good season in the last campaign, especially with interim boss Guud Hiddink at the helms of affairs after former coach Jose Mourinho was sacked.

The Dutchman used the player, branding him as “ideal.” He reinstated the player in the first team, helping the player make 33 appearances in all competitions for the club. With new manager, Antonio Conte bringing in new ideas and formation, Mikel has been tagged non critical. Tutto Merceto Web claims that Inter Milam are prepared to offer 5 million Pounds for the veteran player.

The 29-year old would likely accept the offer as his services is likely excessive to the plans the manager is cooking. The Serie A club is likely to face competition for long term admirers of the player Turkish giant, Besiktas. Mikel’s agent Mesrun Izzet made revelations this month that the player could play in turkey in the forthcoming campaign.

AGENT OF INTER MILAN PLAYER SAYS BROZOVIC IS BEING FORCED OUT OF THE CLUB

The agent of Croatian international, Marcelo Brozovic, says the club is forcing the player out.

The player has emerged as one of the Serie A giants key players this season but Roberto Mancini will be forced to let go of a handful of stars to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations at the club.

Inter have been linked with Manchester City’s Yaya Toure this week and Brozovic could be one of the casualties needed to complete a deal for the Ivory Coast star. Yaya had a difficult season at the Premier League before City agreed to let him go. According to reports from Football Italia, the 23-year-old Brozovic is on the radars of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and soon-to-be Chelsea manager Antonio Conte as both clubs prepare to mount Premier League title challenges next season.

They will be spurred by Brozovic’s agent’s belief that Inter are gearing up to let his client leave the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza this summer. According to Sky Sport Italia, Miroslav Bicanic said:

“If [Inter director] Piero Ausilio went to England, that means he plans to sell him. Continue reading “AGENT OF INTER MILAN PLAYER SAYS BROZOVIC IS BEING FORCED OUT OF THE CLUB”

INTER MILAN TO LIKELY FINISH IN TOP THREE IN THE SERIE A

Italian giants, FC Internazionale Milano have kept alive their hopes of finishing in the top three in Serie A with a 3-1 home victory against Udinese over the weekend.

Cyril Thereau stunned the San Siro by putting the visitors ahead early on, but the brace from Stevan Jovetic turned the game on its head and Eder added a third goal in injury time. Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic produced a brilliant save to deny Duvan Zapata and preserve his side’s advantage after losing their previous game to Genoa.

Thereau who just reached 33 years, opened the scoring after nine minutes. Emmanuel Badu matched a pass from inside the centre circle and Thereau took it brilliantly, striking the ball first time on the volley from just inside the penalty area as it dropped over his shoulder. Inter Milan responded well and Udinese keeper Orestis Karnezis had to push away a fierce shot from 23-year old midfielder, Geoffrey Kondogbia. Inter Milan players may be leaving for Chelsea

There are media reports about Inter Milan players, Ivan Perisic, and Marcelo Brozovic might be leaving the club for Chelsea. Indeed, with Antonio Conte believed to be taking control of the London club, many pundits believe that he will be using his knowledge of the Italian league to improve the English side.

Perisic is a Croatian international that make the move to Inter Milan last year from Wolfsburg. Perisic will add some versatility to the current Chelsea’s midfield since he can play on either flank or as a central midfielder. So far he has made 30 appearances for Inter and scored 8 goals for the Italian side. He will definitely add a creative spark to Chelsea, who has lacked flair in some of their attacking moves.

Brozovic is currently on loan from Dinamo Zagreb and would definitely strengthen Chelsea’s midfield. This season he has performed really well in the heart of Inter Milan midfield and will definitely add something to Chelsea’s midfield which currently consists of Matic and Fabregas.

Losing two players of such quality mean that Inter will have to enter the transfer market quite quickly to replace them. One player that may be heading to Inter Milan is Argentine striker Jonathan Calleri who currently plays for the Brazilian club Sao Paulo. Inter Milan appeared certain to end their league title drought

Inter Milan appeared certain to end their league title drought that has been plaguing the club for the last few years. Since the departure of Jose Mourinho in 2010, the team has gone through several stages of decline and are now even struggling to qualify for the Champions League.

This led to the appointment of their former manager Roberto Mancini after the club recently underwent a change in ownership. Inter Milan president Erick Thohir wanted to bring some sanity to the club by going to the tried and trusted manager. Even though last season did not result in a league title, it was a step in the right direction for the Italian manager.

This convincedThohir to hand a substantial transfer kitty to the manager in the summer. Things looked extremely promising at the start after Inter Milan took full advantage of the troubles faced by Juventus to lead the table. It looks like the title race was going to be between Inter Milan and the likes of Napoli, Roma, and Fiorentina. However, a change in scenery over the last few weeks now sees the club slip into third in the table. Three wins in the last five matches has seen Juventus move level on points. Italian clubs are quick to change their managers, butThohir has issued a vote of confidence to Mancini. Continue reading “Inter Milan appeared certain to end their league title drought”

The owner of Inter Milan, Erick Thohir has already praised Kondogbia as the Indonesian businessman stated that their newest signing can be compared to Manchester City’s YayaToure.

“I’d like to welcome Kondogbia to the club. It was wonderful to see the fans giving him such an enthusiastic welcome today, showing how much they love Inter.  We want to create a great side, and now it’s up to the players to bring the results.”

After completing his arrival to Inter Milan, Kondogbia revealed information as to why he chose to join Inter Milan instead of Ac.Milan and Arsenal.
