INTER MILAN TO LIKELY FINISH IN TOP THREE IN THE SERIE A

Italian giants, FC Internazionale Milano have kept alive their hopes of finishing in the top three in Serie A with a 3-1 home victory against Udinese over the weekend.

Inter Milan appeared certain to end their league title drought

Inter Milan appeared certain to end their league title drought that has been plaguing the club for the last few years. Since the departure of Jose Mourinho in 2010, the team has gone through several stages of decline and are now even struggling to qualify for the Champions League.

It looks like the title race was going to be between Inter Milan and the likes of Napoli, Roma, and Fiorentina. However, a change in scenery over the last few weeks now sees the club slip into third in the table. Three wins in the last five matches has seen Juventus move level on points. Italian clubs are quick to change their managers, butThohir has issued a vote of confidence to Mancini. Continue reading “Inter Milan appeared certain to end their league title drought”

The two teams were unable to find the decisive breakthrough for much of the match untilXherdan Shaqiri came up with the opening goal in the 71st minute.
